After the Dream
After the Dream
Time traced, in the heart.
For now, I hope it doesn’t hurt.
I hope that it sooths.
I don’t want the sadness to re-surface.
I close my eyes.
The images reflected in my heart are drawn out.
Permeated traces.
I hide them away, hoping they don’t pierce my heart.
From a far-off past,
I hear a sound,
emotions reflected in the sound.
The only emotion that remains, is dolorous.
