Shadow of Summer

Playing in the light sea breeze of summer.
Sadness fled to the other side.
Before I knew it the tears were falling.

I couldn’t see anything,
the sea’s light was too bright.

The sea light, is nothing but,
never ending
wandering in sparkles.

The glare is too bright,
it merges into the blue sea,
piercing it.

In the pierced color,
the sadness returns again.

Playing in the light sea breeze of summer.
A brief moment in the shadow of sadness.

The sound of gentle waves, wraps around me.
Time itself, disappears.

The light traces my cheek.
Summer’s light illuminates the shadow of tears.
